If so many people are making hard money of importing old Volkswagen cars. Then why not, for the fun of it, go get them yourself. At least that's my point of view. I get to drive a car, float a boat, and even fly a plane just to return with a piece of ancient history, driving it some 200 Mil. And all this without even breaking the bank! I just have to dedicate my time and efforts to the cause.
Luckily I had some help getting in touch with Andreas from DSR. Olaf from Der Fieser Luftkühlers is an avid reader of the DVF blog and he's the one that patched me trough to Andreas. Thanks for the support Olaf, I think I owe you a Milkshake, just pick your flavour.
